If I was to be a tree it would be the tree of my ancestors, the birch. My ancestors are from Quebec, Canada and the Mohawk Valley of New York, USA. Birch trees grow in groves, surrounded by the most wonderful sights you can imagine. I love being in forests where I can see the black & white bark and the soft yellow leaves whispering in the wind. To walk among the birch is to know peace of mind....it is a good place to sort out confused thoughts. Guard Dog

I prefer to be either a coconut tree or a bamboo.
A coconut tree- because I can give my juice for thirsting traveler. I can give my oil for cooking food. I can give my different parts of my body for traditional medicine today. I can give my leaves for decorating homes and buildings and for cleaning. I can even save life thru the healing properties of my body. That's why I'm called the tree of life.

bamboo- thin and tall yet bows low. Even though I'm thin and tall I can humble myself down low to reach the lowly. (Anyway a bamboo is not a tree but I still like it).

Fruit trees. Why? Because they serve a purpose in life by feeding Us and the other creatures of this planet.

I'd be a palm tree, cause I like warm weather, a nice breeze and an occasional drizzle. I also like to be in a tropical place surrounded by beauty.

Looks like the weeping willow is the most popular and for all the reasons given. We had a gorgeous one ON our farm and a storm took it down and could have cried-it was so graceful but drove my guys nuts mowing under it.

a funeral home in town cut theirs to the same height from below and took away the beauty of it just so it was easier to mow under.

A weeping willow....It just fits me. Plus I love to crawl under the branches and hide from the rest of the world.
