On offensive material?
Because all the rules and guidelines have changed, your report isn't believed until a "Top Reporter" has reported it and you could get suspended if it turns the material didn't break Guidelines. Even if you thought they were.
We'll still get suspended for no reason, they're just changing tack a bit.
Is there a point anymore? :)

It is a brilliant idea...but you could get suspended if you Report Abuse on something you THOUGHT was offensive, but that the Y!Aliban said wasn't.
And we all know the varying levels of what they think is wrong or not. I'm not bothering. Answer and let answer is my motto now xxx

no i don't bother. before they made the changes i reported 3 people, but it didn't do any good so i stopped. the only time i will report now is if someone clones me or if they start e-mailing me with crap and won't leave me alone.

Never, never, never.
Everybody is entitled to have their say good or bad.
Who is anybody on this forum to make an anonymous judgement call.
People are having their questions arbitrarily removed by YA.
People are having their accounts deleted arbitrarily by YA.
Who made Y in charge of what is acceptable or not.
Who feeds them this delusion? SNITCHES LIKE YOU.
You have a choice when you read through the questions list. Anybody with a modicum of intelligence should be able to work out the content. If you have a feeling that it may offend you THEN DON'T OPEN THE QUESTION and sit in judgement.
Stop playing into YA hands.

I kinda like that idea because there were people that would say there were something offensive on it when there really wasn't. People would go and report people just for the fun of it. Now it will be harder for them to do it. I usually don't bother to report someone because I feel that everyone has a right to their own opinion.

Not generally although there was a clone of me on here last week so I reported them but I have to say that is the only person I've reported.

I never did it anyway....I only reported something one time, and that was because it was total spam. I not only don't report, I don't even give thumbs down. I don't give stars either (or at least I never have so far). The only thing I bother with is thumbs up if I liked the answer, other than that I don't bother with it.

Only with blatently offensive material that harms minors, like porno avatars or extreme racist rants. Otherwise, I just pass the question/remark up and consider the source. I have a thicker skin than most--takes alot to make me report ya.

I only report clones/trolls. But I must admit it takes alot to offend me. Some things are just too trivial/funny to report.

No I don't report abuse, unless it's extremely racist or is sexually expletive about kids! apart from that everyone has the right to their opinion!
