How long does it take light to cross the diameter of our Milky Way Galaxy?

-the correct answer is about 75,000yrs but i need the work!!!!!!!

The Galaxy is between 70,000 and 100,000 light years in diameter.

Light takes 1 year to travel 1 lightyear, by definition.

So it would take 70,000 to 100,000 years to travel.
