& entertaining worth being the direct contributor of unnecessary grief to another human being?
Shouldn't there be some ADULT RESPONSIBILITY attached to those who air their views so flippantly & baselessly here on YA?
Apart from Slander & Libel being serious crimes, the mental & emotional anguish caused & damage to one's reputation is irreparable.

Mornin Faith,

I'm with Dolly on this one. Yes I agree there has been some pretty rude stuff regarding this subject on here, but at the end of the day, no matter what has been said and no matter what anyone's opinion or theory is, we will all have to wait for the outcome of the investigation, trial if any etc etc.

If people want to act like eejits, let em. x

I cannot understand how their conscience allows them to say such disgusting things about another human being. How do they sleep. How can they make so many jokes about this missing child and her parents? I think you should have added that the popularity they have is only with their own kind and that in the real world they would disgust rather than entertain any decent human being, they respond to each other in a mini cesspit (within current affairs) of repetitive, illogical puerile, hate filled nonsense. I have been on the receiving end of their malice with repeated questions posted about me to which i am blocked from responding (all except 1 question). In real life the nonsense they prattle would not hold any ones attention for a minute and in a real debate their argument/mutterings would be shot down every time. If they were aware that what they are doing is very telling and giving intelligent people an incite into the problems they have (mentally, emotionaly) would they be so quick to spout their hatred, bitterness gibberish I doubt it.
Beautifully phrased and thought out question, as always, thanks

Everyone is different. Everyone is going to think different. Some of us will always have the opinion that no matter the outcome of this Kate and Gerry McCann are the 2 most responsible parties for the disappearence of their daughter. This could have all been prevented simply by being resposible parents and not such selfish and thoughtless human beings. Everyone can say they are suffering now for the wee little mistake but...its their own dang fault because they were just plain STUPID!!!!!!!! with their most valuable possessions. Maybe I will hold scareymary libel because she just made a horrible accusation against me for thinking outside of the box. Scarymary just called me and many others perverts. I am so offended by that. I am not a pervert. I am a good parent who would never be so stupid!!!

I think people who are hateful need to look inside themselves and find out what makes them that way.

People who invent evil stories about what may or may not have happened to Madeleine need careful observation by the Authorities. These types are unsafe, often perverse with hidden agendas.

Ugh...so patronising. Just because you have a different viewpoint you are the adult here?

I think people should be allowed to discuss what they like.

Edit: Baseless slander? are you McFans really so naive. I appreciate that you try to see the best in people but still....the McCanns are suspicious. And yes, a lot of people can be very immature when it comes to this discussion...but that comes from both sides!! I don't think it is fair of you to label people, telling them to grow up, because they have a different opinion to yours. A lot of supporters also "air their views so flippantly & baselessly"...
