I live in Central Florida and we have the "gecko" or "brown anoles" which are commonly called also "lizards". They are part of the ecological system, we do not kill them with insect spray or poison since they are eating the insects. You just get used to them after all they are harmless to humans but an important part in our Eco-system.
Should you have the real big "lizards" causing problems on your property, I would definitely check with local and state offices about them.

I believe one person already gave the answer so I will just verify it. Do not Kill Lizards. They kill other insects such as spiders, ants, etc. They are really good to have around and they are harmless. Now that spider that is eyeballing you with their 8 eyes ( I think) can be poisonous and doesn't really care for you but the lizard doesn't mind.

Why kill them? They eat insects you don't want in your house, garden....and they are harmless to humans. Catch them and send them to me.

Lizards don't hurt people or animals, and they catch a lot of bugs, so please don't kill them if you can possibly help it.
