Is this how they became a "dynasty" suddenly this era, after many years of being one of the jokes of the NFL? Funny thing is if SO many other teams do it like some misinformed posts have said, then why has no other team been caught or made an example out of like the Pats are now? I think they are dirty little wh*re cheaters.....but then again I thought they were before the tape came out!!! LOL
Screw the Pats, I hope they get the book thrown at them.....But I know they won't get much more than a slap

Don't be dumb Tom C. Who would bet on the Jets against the cheating Pats?!

I cannot believe the above post saying the Pats "figured out" the Jets signals. They were caught red-handed, and the idiot had personally been caught before. I suppose the Patriots are going to start hiring the CIA on their days off now. Is this poster going to deny the illegal camera was brought to Roger Goodell? What a blind homer!
Winning in pro sports is big business and everyone including the players (steroids, HGH, etc.) cheat to win and get the big payday. It should be no shock when the coaches and ownership are in on it.
My sarcasm is not limited to New England. When they catch the next team cheating - and I know the day approaches - I will be there with an I-told-you-so.
My real question is why aren't the Browns, Chiefs, Lions and Cardinals cheating more? Are they so bad they cannot figure out how to bend those corners a little? Or are they happy to lose as honest teams?

Dirty cheater is hard to say. They were just caught, I mean it's hard to say that every football program or any sport won't find a way to get an edge on their opponent. It's just the Patriots where pointed out because of their high level of success and they are one of the hottest teams of the past decade.
It's not hard to say that in baseball, the other club doesn't try to steal signals or in other football programs, they will try to do the same. It's just because they are the Patriots.
Would people make a big deal out of it if it was say, the Miami Dolphins being caught? I know in the NBA, there are plays that are sniffed out randomly because the opposing players know all the signals from tape.

Did the Browns ever get caught cheating about 10 years ago, if so then it is clear the Pats didn't just start last year, because it is clear it is nothing new from the "genius" coach. Either that or maybe that is why he could never win in Cleveland.

Nope. They just started Sunday. And they are the first team in the history of the NFL to cheat. They did something despicable. They watched the Jets coaches on the sidelines making signals. They then intrepreted those signals and figured out their tendencies.
You know the odd thing is that people in baseball have been stealing signals for years. It's just a part of the game. And nobody raises an eyebrow.
You might want to get indignant over something else in the game. Like so many former players who are crippled and can't get the league to give them any medical insurance. Now there's an important one you could really get your hackles up about. Could it be that your indignation is related to a bet against the Pats that you lost on Sunday ? Nooooooooo!

Lol David. Very nicely put! All of that is true.
The Dolphins actually did do basically the same thing to the Patriots last year. Remember the shut out? They even openly admitted it!! And it wasn't even looked into.
Your point proven.

Y-E-S...... Yes, Yes, Yes
Watch some game tape on Bruschi and Co. and watch for the hits after the whistle, hands to the face, illegal shoves and even head shots........ Oh were you talking about something even more sinister? They do that to huh?

that's just crazy why would they even need to do that. they have a pretty solid team this year. plus they were playing the Jets in the first game...not saying they are horrible. I just can't understand why the heck they would need to cheat to win that game...wtf?

Screw the Pats?...*L*...No, screw you...The Pats are the best team in the NFL...Probably another scared Colts fan...Be afraid...Be very afraid...And if you know anything about the Pats and Jets, you know there is a lot of bad blood between Belichick and Mangini...and that is all this is...
