The importance of cooking rice is that you experience the fullness of that moment to be fully present in the moment - should that not be so .. then I would not be coming around to eat breakfast with you ..and have that consultation about how we plan the strategy for the day ahead moving from one location to the next appointment on the list - there are alot of people queing up with different requests and it is important that time is valued as a premium during the day and be kept to a mininum - and optimised with the opportunity that the breakfast meeting is going to be the most opportunist moment to start making an assessment with regard to the management of the time available to schedule the appropriate agenda proceedure for the day. kegeree therefore would be on the menu on ocassions and is prefered by some as an easy option and goes down well with a cup of red bush tea in the mornings - this is what I would say should I have an early start in the morning say with the Prime Minister in Downing Street in London - anyway that is all in my imagination - because I am experiencing the moment - the only difference is I can be in the moment of some other location without leaving the location where I am right now and get a pretty good idea of the location I am thinking about - does that answer your question ? - I am a person who has a gift - my mission is simple stupid - dumber than dumber but you wouldn't understand that because I am that bit different doesn't matter to you - because either way somewhere along the way - some idiot is going say something that impedes my progress and create curcumstances that are unfavorable towards me - that is often the consequences that have manifested in my life because nobody has really valued my contribution - except to say that many have taken advantage and have taken any intiatives that I have given that may take the credit and the advantages acheived for themselves without any consideration for my needs - you see I am the fall guy although rarely do I voice my concerns about what has happened in my life - because I would rather alow the unfoldment of the experience to run it's course as there maybe some value however small and troublesome that might be I seem to have a knack always to have the necessary opportunity to bounce back and I am a determined individual and always find a way through the adversity that has been thrown onto my lifes path by the blind ignorance and greed of other people. I am a minimalist I look for oportunity to minimalise the impact on my budget and make savings appropriately and often I am suprised at the margins I have saved in terms of money and effort - it is a diciplined approach that I learned with the seasonal modular changes in business in the retail sector - that taught me a great deal in terms of having a contingency plan say over the winter periods - with the 9/11 the impact on the retail sector was very noticeable with a decline in the audience of tourists coming from Europe and America - such events in the world are causes of trends that unsettle people's confidence - so world events generally do have an impact on everyones lives everywhere in the world - each moment each day should be experienced in the fullness of it's potential - yes it is important when you are cooking rice or even preparing any meal of the day - only take what responsibilty has been given to you because you are not only giving nourishment to yourself you are giving nourishment to others as well and value has a premium lived in the expression of each moment each day of your life.

Yep,'cause I use minute rice. But I really prefer wild rice which is too expensive to mess up!
Sweet Wild Rice
1/2 cup wild rice
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup chopped dates

Wash rice & soak over night. Boil in salted water until well done. Cool. Mix in all remaining ingredients and serve warmed. Whip cream is optional!
