In the middle of dropping my baby off at the babysitters, and on my way to work. I saw the first tower on tv before I left but didn't understand what was going on because I was in a hurry. It wasn't until I turned on the radio and every single station was broadcasting the news that I realized what had really happened. I should have realized something significant had happened when I'd seen my mom tearing up while she was watching the news. But--go me--I was in a hurry.

On the phone and the web with my sisters in Australia and Cincinnati.

Two of them are very psychic and about ten minutes prior to the first incident went to ... for no reason at all... to vomit, both were suddenly feeling very ill. They returned just as the first plane hit.

Then I went upstairs to work for my Jewish boss who was watching it and telling her 5 year old that the Muslims were doing this to "us poor Jews". Being Muslim, that did not go over too well with me and I called her on this as speculation and an unnecessary idea to plant in the child's mind.

Even then I watched those "into their footprints" collapses and wondered about the truth!

As with the assassination of Kennedy, I will not forget that moment ever.

I was talking to my exboyfriend on the phone watching the News. Then CNN news had it as breaking news. We watched in horror. Also with having kids in school I watched the news to make sure there was no more risk.
I watched the TV way to much for 3 days watching the news trying to make out the why of it all.

Today I reflected on my conversation with the exboyfriend and morn for all the people and myself. Because my ex has stage 4 cancer and I was unable to talk to him about it as we have for 5 years now.

Still climbing up and clinging on to the coconut trees and still look green in faraway land swinging from tree to tree.
Came down and came across on what is a TV.
Switch it on.
Notice the buildings in smokes.
In time get kick on the butts for climbing back up the coconut trees.

I was working in a newspaper office. I remember it being about 3pm.
We had Sky News on, just in case of stories like this.

All my colleagues thought it hilarious (look - a second one!), as all the work I'd done that day had to be redone, there and then.

Watching TV and trying to understand why the buildings were apparently demolished after being struck by airplanes.

One commentator on the spot seemed to agree with my interpretation that there had to be something else going on. The structure under the building had to be undermined for such a collapse to occur.
