Good call with Tony Dorsett, he is my #6.
Jim Brown was very good, but hard to put him as a top 5 guy when he finished 5th in Heisman voting his senior year. Archie was the only 2 time winner.

Last I checked Ron Dayne and Ricky Williams were 1 and 2 in all time rushing. Hard to leave them out of the conversation. I'm surprised that the USC homer left Charles White off the list, #4 all time.

Byron 'Whizzer' White, University of Colorado Class of 1938. Played NFL for Pittsburgh Pirates (now Steelers) and led in rushing (1939). WWII interrupted his football career and he went on to become a US Supreme Court Justice. RIP 2002

IMO Larwence Phillips could have been the greatest of all-time if he could have stayed out to trouble. He was a man among boys in college. He ended up being a very troubled individual.

I was about to skip this one, figuring I'd never narrow IT down to 5. The more I thought about it, the more sure I knew who my top5 were
.
When I hit "Answer Q...." There was nothing left to think about. My list is EXACTLY the same 5 as you picked.

I see you added a few extras. I think I'd have to go with Tony Dorsett at #6. He was as dominant as your 3 extras, however he did it a Pitt. Your 3 all plated for perennial powerhouses
