If I drop him he wil probably do great the rest of the season.

No don't drop him!!

So he had an off night. So what?

The entire Arizona offense had a tough night.

Would you drop Leinart, or even Fitzgearald just because they didn't perform last week? No.

Keep him around for at least 4-5 more weeks as the starter. The TE position isn't going to break you if he doesn't score 15+ points a game, but if he does score like that, then he can certainly help your team win.

Do NOT drop him. He will perform. Sure, he had one bad week, but you cannot judge a player based on that. Brees and Steven Jackson combined for 2 points in my league. No ones dropping them.

If you do want to pick up a TE from free agency (without dropping davis, drop someone else...) Eric Johnson is worth a look. Brees targetted him a ton during the season opener and looked really solid. Owen Daniels is a great TE if he is still available. But whatever you do, do not drop Davis, I still consider him a must start fantasy TE

Pick up Erick Johnson as a backup. By next week you will be starting him. TE's are pretty much a dime a dozen after the top 5 or so. You only expect a few points from them with the occasional bonus from a TD.

Why cut your losses after one week? Arizona was obviously keying on the short game and it stuffed the usually explosive Davis.

The Rams are not as gifted in the secondary and Alex Smith should find some under routes for Davis this week. Davis should get some of the catches Arnaz Battle had last week.

Keep him for now. He will bounce back and give you good numbers. He had an off night.
