It didn't affect me directly, but it made me realize how precious life is. Before then, I had only donated blood once but after 9/11 happened, I went and donated blood and have continued to as often as I can since. Also not a day goes by when I don't tell those close to me that I love them and how much they mean to me. I don't like to stay angry with some one in case we never get to say our peace.

Oh my god i thought it was so horrible. Let me tell you something. On the plain there was a guy and his wife...but you know the sad part? They were a 2 year old daughter in there! Her life was just begining but then they ruined it. Think about that! And this girl she went to a pregncy test to see if she was pregnant...so she was pregnant and she called her husband and everything and they were very excited so when they were on the phone she saw the plain coming though the window and well you know what happen. That is why we should never forget 9/11!!! You must be silent for a moment for all those innocent people who died. Please be silent fora moment if you a have a heart and respect those people.

It always makes me remember what so many families are going through still. And how blessed my family is not to have lost anyone in the attacks. My cousin was a flight attendent, and was scheduled to work on the flight that hit the pentagon, but had to call in and cancel that flight because of school that day. It always makes my family feel sorry and sad for the family of the flight attendant who had to take my cousins place. My prayers go out to all the family today. It's good to remember and still pray for the friends and families of those lost in these attacks.

I remember waking up, at 6 o clock in the morning for some reason, turning the tv on, and seeing the two towers fall. It was a nightmare. The name i kept hearing all day was bin laden. Why would anyone want to kill so many people, and for no real reason?

In all honesty - it really doesn't affect me in direct ways. I still work fulltime, raise a family, pay taxes and the mortgage.

I'll never forget 9/11 - like anyone else who lived through the day. NYC is forever changed because of it.

My thoughts and prayers go out to those that still grapple with it's aftermath - and those that fight in foreign lands in related efforts.

I searched the web and reflected on some of my feelings I had on that day. I watched as the second plane hit while talking to my ex boyfriend. He now has stage 4 cancer. So, I remembered what we talked about and cried tears about that day and today as I will miss him dearly.
I watched Oprah and felt sad for the familys and happy at the same time. Many of there kids looked healthy. And i felt proud to be an American as I looked at our hero's.

Oh I want to add: How it has effected me now. I hate having the fear of what to do if the water gets poisoned or if any other major thing happens on American soil.

I lost my naivity about the media/governent/congress/multinational corporations. I learned:that the mass media is repeating erroneous stories provided by the government. Even PBS is sucked into this showing totally implausible simulations of the 9/11 building collapses.

Read physics Professor Steven Jones' analysis of the demolition of three WTC buildings in NYC on 9/11

I remember waking up as the 1st tower fell and I asked my roommate why they knocked down that big bldg thinking it was for like construction or something. I was half asleep not realizing it was the world trade center. She was like you need to sit down and watch whats happening. I was horrified when I saw people jumping out of the bldg. I remember getting to work and watching what was happening on my boss's little portable tv.
