So I prefer to date interracially and so does one of my friends.
She has a body more like Nicole Ritche and I have a body more like Beyonce. We are both black females, both 5'5 and I am lighter skinned.
I notice that black men tend to get upset or give ME more bad looks when we are both walking with white guys.
I think this is due to my body type being more desirable to black men than hers is.
I mean I never hear a black man complain that Nicole Ritche only dates white guys (even though she is mixed) But if Beyonce did it I am sure they would get mad.

Because black men have the mentality they own everything. In their eyes, its okay for them to date whoever they want, white, black, asian, hispanic, indian, etc..., but heaven forbid a black woman dates outside her race, esp a white male. They'll come up with any excuse in the book of why she shouldn't. Really its just immaturity and ignorance. I think more black women should be open to the idea of interracial dating, since they're pretty and since a lot of black men want to date outside their race, who's going to give black women some love? I really don't see the big deal, it usually works out for the better for black women. They have a good head on their shoulders, their strong, independent, and beautiful and don't need to stoop down to someone else's level just because that person thinks he owns the entire black race.
Do what you want, and tell the haters who don't like it to just kiss your a**.

Because people are racist. I'm white and I had a black female friend for while who was very attractive and when we'd hang out black men would give me nasty looks all the time. Obviously they were thinking "how come this white boy is going out with this fine black woman" even though we were just friends. The messed up thing is that if she wasn't attractive they probably wouldn't care.

Well, if our friend has a body like Nicole Richie perhaps the bad looks are really horrified looks. I mean, I would stare at a walking corpse too.

Girl your built like beyonce' I'm built like deelishis from flavor of love 2 and yes me & my honey get stares, we get black guys coming up in our face saying the most heinous things even black guys with non-black women say ingorant, disrespectful things and then they stare in amazement as to why I am not w/ them. No woman wants a guy who behaves like child, is disrespectful, and sexist. I have found in my life that NOT ALL but most black men seem to be mysogynstic toward women but particuarly black women. This is not why I don't date them, I have just never in my life been attracted to them. I have seen black men and thought some were attractive but I was never attracted to them. I have dated black men at the behest of my family but it went nowhere, no chemistry.
NativeAtlantean: Your saying that black men don't care who we date is bullsh!t! because they do if they didn't they wouldn't be giving me and my honey a hard way to go whenever we try to enjoy a night out on the town and like I said even the black guys w/ non-black women on their arm have something negative to say. Haha same here. I date interracially a lot (white men) and I do notice some black men having hostile looks on their faces and acting as if I have committed a crime. They are simply racist, insecure and jealous, and its so pathetic!

It has nothing to do with body type. Even if they found you ugly they would still get mad at you dating interacially. Black guys expect black girls to wait for them forever and be lonely if they can't find a black man.

This really kills me. Black men think nothing of dating outside of their race, but they get so judgmental when black women do the same thing. This is America - a woman is free to date whoever she wants to date. Even if you wanted to date an Asian woman, it would be no one's business but your own.

Why are there sooo many Black women concerned with dating white men or advertising that they do? Stop bragging. I've never seen such obsession over a person's color. If you love him for him, fine; if for his color, get a life.
