I like receiving them. Anything really. I don't have many people in my life and the ones that care enough to take time out of their lives and think about me enough to get me anything is nice for me. Even a card will satisfy me. But gift cards are always nice to get.
I won't give them though. I'm one to always put allot of thought into gifts. I listen carefully to the little things and surprise with gifts related something we talked about months ago. Like last year. My wife was working on her last year of her University degree and working two jobs. She was saying how she really needed a day for herself to just relax and not do a thing. So, I went out and got her a day package at the spa over her Christmas break.

Yes I do. Sometimes it's hard to shop for certain people and a gift card always works. The same for me, if people don't know what to get me they can just give me a gift card.

i don't like giving, it makes me feel like i didn't try to go and make time for their special present
I always try to avoid it but then again. it's soo easy cuz my friends are hard to shop for.. and gift cards give what they wanna buy ya know..
as for getting.. sometimes i want to get something different.. instead of me gettin my own gift.. but in the end it's like at least they got me one. and i appreciate it fully :)

I like making homemade cards, and receiving homemade cards because they are the most meaningful.

I dont like giving them because i dont want people to think i dont know them well enough to know what to get them or that i just cant be bothered looking for something for them
But i do like receiving them because then i can get what ever i want.

Yes. They are easy to purchase the the receiver can buy something he/she will certainly be able use.
