It is a custom built computer. Guy wants to sell it for 320-350. I want to use it as a desktop for my HDMI TV for gaming. I already have a laptop for school but it is ready to die.

It is a pretty powerful set up on an obsolete platform. Price is attractive though. BUT to make it an exciting gaming PC, you need at least a Geforce 8600GT there (factory overclocked is best). You may have to add another hard drive. Be ready to spend $150-200 more.

Simply because of the 80 G drive... I would pay =< 300, which is lower than your lowest in the range. If it had 3x-4x the storage, I might consider 350.

But the type of memory is a great plus, the SLi support in the video card is a nice Woah factor, but are you going to set up another card and take advantage of it? if not, you have more bargaining power cuz you don't *need it.

but it is a nice setup.

That's a heck of a deal at that price. I'd make sure that worked. I don't think that HDMI inputs are going to be on a graphics card like that. HDMI are still the realm of TV's only. See if you can verify the info before you buy.

That price is a steal, even with slightly outdated technology. Custom built PCs are generally worth a bit more than their similarly outfitted OEM bretheren, simply because they will typically have better quality parts in them.

Its not quite cutting edge, but thats pretty fast. Obviously, worth the money unless something is wrong with it that he is concealing. I would offer 250 and negotiate from there. Definitely worth 320 or so.
