Yes. "Wealth distribution" says it all. It's PC for "you've got money and I want it." Why work when they can steal it from us through taxation?
They've already destroyed morality, just look at people like Paris Hilton and Britney Spears being worshiped by the sheeple masses who actually think dancing around on stage in a thong is something their daughters should aspire to be.
Now they're chipping away at our soldiers with the defacement of our Vietnam war memorial and the disrespect of a decorated war hero (general Patraeus). I guess they feel if they cannot win through government means, they'll destroy our soldier's confidence instead. Very sad world we live in.

Whenever I read a "question" like this, (which is really just a denigration, without backup, disguised as a question), I WANT to say in the most sarcastic voice possible, "Oh yeah! I want to "ruin" this country--where I live, and my children and grandchildren live--with socialism and depravity. But some folks wouldn't "get" the sarcasm, and would point to my reply as "proof" of the Liberals' "planned destruction of America."
First of all, there is NO correlation between socialism and depravity; socialism is an economic theory, and depravity is a measurement of the lack of morals.
Secondly, no one wants to "steal" anything (Well, except for those corporations that run EVERYTHING these days....) And, what do you have against poor people?
And, where did you ever get the idea that morals are a thing of the past? I'm a Liberal, and I'm quite moral! Have the conservatives done away with morals when I wasn't looking? (All that foot tapping in the johns, and lying, stealing, etc.????)
"Anything goes"? You are talking about what Mr. Bush says whenever someone asks him to come up with another new reason for being in Iraq, aren't you?
Why does PC always get laid at the feet of Liberals? I was under the impression that being PC just meant having good manners--and I don't see that as a detriment to the longevity of the US.
And, as far as "accepting it" goes, you can always vote---oh, yeah, right--there IS a conservative in the White House. Well, how then, do Liberals get blamed for everything YOU don't like??
EDIT: Oh, and please tell me how I am responsible for Britney or Paris? I can't stand to hear another word about them, and I think they are HORRIBLE role models---but Britney DID say she was a Bush fan. And, I seriously doubt that Paris, with all her money, would ever entertain voting for anyone other than a conservative.....IF she votes at all!

Americans don't even know what socialism is. They have this cartoon image of it that has no basis in reality.Kind of like how their view of the world outside their borders through this strange lens that distorts everything until it fits into a neat little package that they can understand. If you want to know what socialism is, look at the nordic countries, they do it quite well.
I do agree with the morality thing though. Respect for life and law is getting pretty cheap when you can say that kidnapping and torture is ok. It's hard to teach children to have some respect when there is so little of it out there in the world.

Seems like they don't have to bother. I think Enron made a pretty good job of it not to mention all the sub-prime loans that have now caused stock market crashes on a global scale.

There is an entire continent that practises various level of socialism that does not have your crime and or prison population It does not have your homeless begging for food on the streets etc etc
Do you know where that continent is ?
It's currency is stronger than yours and together they have more of a gross national product than you do
There democracy's are older than yours and they are doing quite fine
One of there members happened to have won the highest standard of living for There people -
It is not the US they came 5 th or 6 th -
Can you name it yet ?????
Socialism hasn't killed them or destroyed them from the inside out - None of the predictions made by fat cat elite's who prosper on poverty have come close to happening -
And yet surprise surprise this is not covered in American media - Still can't name it ?

it burns my buns when i am in line and i see someone using food stamps to buy better than i can afford...
it burns my buns that i have worked hard all my life for everything i own and i see perfectly healthy women refusing to work, because they make better money with welfare...AND they STILL send their kids to day care...which i pay for, i might add....
it burns my buns when i see films depicting our troops as murderers and rapists..and then hear our elected officials calling a general THEY sent to iraq for the "truth" ...a liar....must be they wanted him to parrot their brand of the "truth", huh?
it burns my buns, in a time of war, to hear "stars" denigrate our country..a country that has treated them ever so well....
it burns my buns ...REALLY burns my buns to hear our elected officials tell us we have already "lost" the war on terror...where do they get that crap??? and the nerve to repeat it!
it burns my buns the stupidity of some who think Bush is responsible for the twin towers coming down....i think somewhere there are two geeks giggling and saying things like..."okay, now let's say Bush had to plant bombs in the parking garage because steel doesn't burn!" or "let's try ...ummmm...oh...why not Bush is responsible for PMS, crab grass and oh...global warming! someone will believe it and spread it!"...yes i can see them thinking of things for the gullible masses...and then getting their jollies when they see it come back around on the net....
and yes....liberals want socialism...they want to spread the wealth...they want to pick my pockets so that they can buy the votes of those who feel "entitled"....that really...REALLY burns my buns.....

Obviously they do, but there are certain requiirements to being a liberal.
1. You have to be against capital punishment, but support abortion on
demand.
2. You have to believe that businesses create oppression and governments create prosperity.
3. You have to believe that guns in the hands of law-abiding citizens are more of a threat than U.S. nuclear weapons technology in the hands of Chinese and North Korean communists.
4. You have to believe that there was no art before federal funding.
5. You have to believe that gender roles are artificial, but being
homosexual is natural.
6. You have to believe that the AIDS virus is spread by a lack of federal funding.
7. You have to believe that the same teacher who can't teach 4th-graders how to read is somehow qualified to teach those same kids about sex.
8. You have to believe that hunters don't care about nature, but PETA
activists do.
9. You have to believe that self-esteem is more important than actually doing something to earn it.
10. You have to believe that Mel Gibson spent $25 million of his own money to make "The Passion of the Christ" for financial gain only.
11. You have to believe the NRA is bad because it supports certain parts of the Constitution, while the ACLU is good because it supports certain parts of the Constitution.
12. You have to believe that taxes are too low, but ATM fees are too high.
13. You have to believe that Margaret Sanger and Gloria Steinem are more important to American history than Thomas Jefferson, Gen. Robert E. Lee, and Thomas Edison.
14. You have to believe that standardized tests are racist, but racial
quotas and set-asides are not.
15. You have to believe that the only reason socialism hasn't worked
anywhere it's been tried is because the right people haven't been in charge.
16 You have to believe that gay parades displaying drag queens and
transvestites should be constitutionally protected, and manger scenes at Christmas should be illegal.
17. You have to believe that this message is a part of a vast, right-wing conspiracy.
18. You have to believe that we as parents are too stupid to raise our own children, but the village collective is better.
19. You have to believe that tobacco is out of control and just smelling it will kill you but the HIV virus is controllable and cheaper to treat.
20. You have to believe that Mother Earth is crying for our help and that the rich right wing SUV drivers are the ones killing it.
21. You have to believe that only the rich are Republicans and that everyone else is oppressed by the rich including rich Hollywood.
22. You have to believe that Government Hand Outs do more for society than a hand up.
23. You have to believe that the Rules of Engagement and UN control wins wars even though our enemy does not comply.
24. You have to believe that saving a kangaroo rat's life is more important than being self sufficient with our own oil.
25. You have to believe that it was President Bush's fault for the bridge collapsing and not just poor maintenance.
26. You have to believe that Hurricane Katrina wiping out New Orleans is President Bush's fault and not the fact that it sits below sea level on a vulnerable coast line.
27. You must protest against your own military and hand over it's control to the UN instead of supporting them and their fight for our freedoms.
28. You have to believe that the New World Order is the safest place to be and not the United States of America or One nation under God!
29. You have to believe that Spanish is a much better language speak than English
Bonus points if you believe….
30. You have to believe health care is a right, and that it needs to be provided by the government.
31.*You have to believe that political correctness and not offending someone is more important that common sense and doing what is obviously right.
32.*You have to believe in the fairness doctrine to silence the conservative bias in radio, but not believe in the liberal bias in all of the media, whether it be television or the printed press.
33.*You have to believe that people that don't buy into liberal views need to be censored, and be called ignorant, rednecks, bigots, warmongers, racists, regressive, religious fanatics etc., but at the same time promote freedom of speech.
34.*You have to believe in gay rights and a persons right to privacy when pertaining to their sex life, but scold and criticize any conservative/republican for being gay and exploiting them and their personal life on national TV .
