I think the Rock Paper Scissors is cool to do. Never seen it before. My friends and I dressed up as villains. Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger and I was Chucky.

This is not exactly a trio but my friends and I are dressing up as different fast food characters like the king from buger king and ronald mcdonald. Maybe you can just try the same genre.
