Abortion Ruins America?

Disclaimer: i in no way condone abortion, except in certain circumstances. This question is intended to be a practice in word twisting and argument. continue at yur own risk.

so. abortion, as im sure you know, is getting rid of your zygote/fetus/whatever.
so you have sex, and get pregged.
not wanting a kid, you abort.
you realize how easy it is.
you become irresponsible about sex.
you abort several more times.
now you sleep with whoever, since you can just abort.
irresponsible sex leads to more disease being spread around.
now, if many poeple did this, stds would spread quickly.
std's are diseases.
diseases lower productivity of the host.
if many poeple are losing productivity, than the economy will start to slip.
thus leading to more irresponsible behavior (third world countries, lacking producivity, have lots of babies)
which destroys thwe economy.
america, being a capatilist state (gb) lives off its economy.
so, if the economy goes down, so does america.

yes! condoms for everyone!!

Using condoms is easier, cheaper, safer and also prevents infections. America should give free condoms to the world. Everyone will win.

That's one way to put it. There are 20 other things that you can do essentially the same thing with. However, you seem to have the belief that getting an abortion is a very simple decision, no different than deciding to go on the pill or use a condom. Well guess what? It's not. Just cause a women gets an abortion doesnt mean she isnt sad about it. Sometimes you just dont have the financial or physical aid to bring a child into this world. What about rape victims? Imagine looking at a child all day that was caused by one of the worst experiences of your life. A women has the right to do whatever she wants with her body. I dont think that abortion should be used in all situations, but I think that it should at least be available. The government shouldnt have the right to determine what a women can and cannot do with her body. By the way if you conservatives would actually support putting some decent safe sex ed courses in our schools, people would actually know how to have safe sex and prevent the spread of STDs and unwanted pregnancy.

a little far fetched on your theory. Your theory assumes that everyone that has an abortion does so because 1. she does not want a child at this time. 2. That as a result that everyone that has an abortion becomes irresponsible about sex and continues to get abortions 3. that at no time in does a person who has had an abortion ever wish to have children. and 4. that every person who has an abortion, becomes irresponsible about sex gets an STD from sleeping with multiple people. That is alot to assume about alot of people. So in answer, no abortion is not nor will not "ruin" America.
