Someone else's answer, to a different question, made it clear to me that some Democrats think they already have the 2008 elections wrapped up. Well, I can only tell you that I have voted Democrat, more often than not, and the Democrats do not have me wrapped up by any means. If the Democrats don't get straight on a couple of things, such as illegal immigration, they will not get my vote. And let me assure you that I know for a fact that I am not the only person, who is usually inclined to vote Democrat, that feels this way. Illegal immigration is a deal breaker for many of us.
Have the Democrats become so arrogant as to believe that they will win simply because the Republicans are stuck with Bush's record?

I'm looking for a third party candidate. The Democrats are not telling me what I want to hear about illegal immigration. Bill Richardson's little joke about the "13 foot ladder" didn't impress me. Neither did Hillary Clinton's accusations of racism. I would think that we could find a President that is at least intelligent enough to realize that hispanics and/or latinos are not a race unto themselves.

Dem politicos can't count chickens. They can't count numbers at all. Judging by how they treated Petreus, they are the stupidest, rudest lot of politicians in history, not to mention treasonous.

People sure have a short (very) short attention/memory span! So Faux Newz does rot your brain, loose your hearing and make you go blind all at the same time.

I recall that they believed they had the 2004 election "wrapped up" too.

You bet ya! But, that is alright. Overconfidence can only hurt them in the long run.
