Lol wat in tarnations is just a word formed by the people when they r frustrated or miffed. It's a exclamation word when one gets flustered lol like how we say darn, or damn, or wat the heck , hell etc etc.
S.O.S lol I'd say someone over someone lol jk save our ship but the dictionary meaning is given as this An internationally recognized distress signal in radio code, which isn't proving any full form of the letters.

I never gave this any thought. I THINK its sort of mild profanity.
