Lovesick:
Thinking that because someone else likes you it gives you great value. As if you aren't worth anything without them. Which simply isn't so. Either that, or you're just horney.

In my experience, you mainly feel lovesick when you are away from the one that you love. When my husband and I first got married, when he would go out of town for work, I would get physically sick because I missed him so much. Also, when we were apart, not only did I feel like a part of me was missing, I had an actual pain in my chest.

Lovesick is what I felt tonight at dinner. I love my man so much but he gets on my nerves to the point that when I looked at him across the table I lost my appetite.

That depends on you. For me, lovesick, was when I was denied the ability to see my children and I felt broken and empty inside and at times my chest hurt so bad I cried.

Love sick is when you love someone to the point you think about them constantly.But don't consider yourself as crap because you can love someone to death as long as you still have feelings for that person.
