Will the high gas prices create such poverty that countries begin to think of going over there and taking the gas and oil with their millitary.Could these prices cause a global depression or worse world war III.

or maybe just maybe nations will follow the path of Brazil that ever since the oil embargo of the 1970's looked for alternative sources of fuel besides for petroleum.

If we for the same costs and effort can can be come energy self-sufficient then why shouldn't we?

The 50 BILLION $$$ a month pricetag for the Iraq war will bring the USA on the road to recession--if it isn't already there. Yesterday, the US just unveiled they can now make fuel out of common saltwater--and that well may be our country's economic lifeboat.

Expect oil barrel prices to DROP fast within the next 5 years.
