There is a reason he is your ex, I would assume. What you have to get straight in your mind is that nothing that he does or says has anything to do with you, even if it's about you. The people who are your friends, who truly know you will know he is full of crap. Ex's don't become jerks, people allow them to be. Stop enabling and just move on. The more he knows it bothers you, the more he feels in control.

My boyfriend just broke up with me a week ago and i wish I thought of him as a jerk. I think it would make this breakup so much easier to hate him and despise him...
but unfortunately I still think so highly and positively about him and it hurts even more to lose someone like him in my life

Well all I can say is to not let him/her get you down. Situations change all of the time but a truly great person does not change the way he or she treats others. If you continue to live up to a high standard all around will see truth and know you are the better person.

In their minds you do......My ex was a real pain in the @ss I had to fight her about everything including our daughter getting her drivers license.....even though she moved 400 miles away I had to pay most of the costs of having my daughter come and visit me.......I could go on and on but I am trying to erase those memories from my mind....:D
