Just because he has been out of office for nearly 7 years surely doesn't mean we can't find a way to blame him for the second recession of the Bush presidency does it?

Susan - if you couldn't believe it then - how about Jimsock saying the same thing now - and we haven't even had the election!
Jimsock - last time the economy had a Clinton in charge it experienced the longest sustained expansion in the history of the country. So if we were gearing up for another Clinton we would be rearing to go.

Andy - Bush is to blame for undermining attempts to tackle the problem of global warming - not for causing it!

The economy is already perparing for the next Clinton.
Most investors feel more comfortable invested in cash now.
They don't know what Hillary will do, it doesn't matter what she says, they won't take a chance because they know she's a liar.
When you take cash out of the economic pipline you stifle business start ups, raise interest rates, lose jobs and kill consumer confidence.
So you are right, Clinton will be blamed, just not the last one, the next one.

Actually the blame for the coming Depression lies with the Federal Reserve, a relic of the Wilson Administration.
Though, Bush can definitely be blamed for not eliminating the Internal Raiding Service Inc. (IRS).

They probably won't blame Clinton as they're probably buying Euro's as fast I am, and being happy about it.

They can try - but they're going to have to talk awful fast to drown out the criminal charges that congress is going to be able to bring against the Bush cabal.

It's Clinton's fault because he had a (oral sex) job.
Therefore he is guilty of everything Bush did.

Of course, that is all the Republicans know how to do.
They even blame the media for Senator Craig sex scandal.
