I don't want to offend you in any way, but could this be something hormonal? I had some horrible PMS symptoms for many years and then I was pushed into early menopause (42 years old) because of chemo. I've been crying one minute and laughing like a crazy lady the next. I would suggest that you talk frankly with your doctor to get to the bottom of this. I have a good idea of what you are going through and I think that your doctor can help you.

Stress is a big factor in many illnesses. Do you have trouble sleeping too? Not sure what age you are or what gender but after my hysterectomy I began felling those same things too. One thing besides stress, it could be a hormonal change. Also has anything in your diet changed, and does anyone in your family have thyroid problems? Try monitoring these symptoms for awhile and writing down things so you can compare them daily. MEDICATION is not always the answer.Really take notice when you are at your highs and lows. You do not want to be diagnosed incorrectly because that will be in your medical records and future insurance inquiries. You know your body better than anyone so listen to it and pay attention and when you do seek medical attention make them listen. God bless.

Well, I don't want to alarm you and I'm certainly not a doctor, but it sounds like you could have some sort of chemical imbalance or you could be developing some form of bipolar disorder. The main criteria for this disorder are extreme highs and lows. You really should see a professional just to make sure because even though the highs can be nice and fun, they are just as potentially dangerous as the lows. Please see a doctor. I wish you luck

Please contact a medical professional. You may just need some anxiety medication. It sound like you may be bi-polar there are several medications and therapies that can help you feel better and more in control of yourself. Remember these mood swings don't only effect you but also your entire family, co-workers, and anybody that you see on a regular basis. It is probably just a simple chemical imbalance that is easily correctable.

Is there anything stressful going on in your life?
Maybe swings in your hormone levels?
Could be something in your diet, too. if you've developed a sensitivity to something in your food or drink. Artificial sweeteners seem to do this to me. If I stay away from diet sodas I'm fine.
Don't panic. Give it a few days and if you don't feel better call and talk to your doctor.

(And before somebody yells at you really rudely--you're in home and garden asking this question ;) )

Well, it doesn't sound like a reaction to anything in your garden...

Sounds a bit like bipolar disorder.
