Hi. I m a sophomore(male). and i dont know how to buy jeans that looks gud to me. I buy jeans, but they are either too tight or too big..... Is it because of my body shape? I am 5'8" and weighs 156lb. My leg length is 90cms. and the diameter of my thigh is about 50cm.(i know it's thick.) I really want to buy jeans that looks gud to me and to other people. And wat r the jean types? There are too many types. Straight, boot cut, etc. So tell me everyhing about what i need.

Take someone whose opinion you trust and let them help you decide what suits you the best and hat feels good to you

straight leg jeans are universally flattering on most all people. they are just that, straight from the thigh down to the foot. Next best would be the slight bootcut. The one area you are going to have a very difficult time with is the length. You have very long legs, and most tall jeans are 34 inches, you are 35. Your thigh measurement isn't really that important, your waist is more important.

the best advice I can give, try on tons of stuff. just keep trying until you find one.

Since you say your thighs are big, get pants that are bootcut (NOT flared). Bootcut jeans will balance out the top of your legs. Also get a dark rinse--this is slimming, and it gives a polished look. Brands don't matter so much--fit is the most important thing.

If jeans are too tight in the waist but perfect otherwise, buy one size up and wear a belt.

Gap has a good selection of jeans, at decent prices: http://www.gap.com/browse/category.do?cid=6998

It's really hard to find pants that fit just right.
You just have to go to the store and try on every kind of pants they have until you find some that look and feel good (be sure to try them sitting down, too) and then buy two pair!

Good luck!
