If Nebrbaska does win, it will be because USC has beat themselves....like they did twice last year. I cannot deny the talnet that they have....but a good team like the Huskers, who are prepared and hungry, could do it.
Personally....I think that USC will go undefeated....until they play Notre Dame, who will shock the nation....by not only winning their first game of the season, but by humbling the USC giant in the process.....and because everybody knows how the polls love ND so much....sympathy votes will propel them to the #2 spot on the rankings......so that they play LSU for the Championship.....and LSU wins by 56pts.
(in the meantime USC will go on to beat the University of Idaho in the Fiesta Bowl) those are my predictions....and I'm sticking to them.

The Huskers have been quietly rebuilding in Lincoln for a few years now and the finished product is on display this season behind former Arizona State star Sam Keller. Keller is familiar with better USC defenses than this one, as he does have a pair of games against the Trojans on his resume. The first time he came off the bench in a backup roll, but the second time he led his team to an 18 point half time lead over the Trojans before falling apart in the 2nd half. Third time is a charm here in front of this raucous crowd and backed by the best Cornhusker team since their National Championship run. It doesn't help USC that they come in here off a bye week with the only action this season being an unimpressive outing against Idaho. I'll call the final score Nebraska 24, USC 23.
Good Luck!

properly, final year interior the Colliseum, it got here right down to John David Booty having a team of tall WR's catching the ball over Nebraska CB Grixby, who's in straightforward terms 5'10" (?) yet now they have some taller CB's and a lots swifter protection. My question is with USC's suggestions-blowing protection, will the Husker's offense be waiting to do something against them? particular they have Marlin fortunate, yet he kinda struggled against Wake woodland, plus Sam Keller does not seem to be as large as we theory. undergo in suggestions additionally in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, bill Callahan likes to play conservative on the line (like final year the place he in straightforward terms tried sixteen passes. whilst they actualy did bypass on some performs, they scored a TD. yet it grew to become into too little too previous due.) yet opens up the playbook at homestead (like against Texas final year which they have been an unlucky fumble remote from triumphing!!). i think of if the Husker crowd can save the Huskers interior the pastime early, rigidity USC right into some errors, and build the arrogance of their team, they could be waiting to pull off a 28-27 disillusioned at homestead. If USC does not make those errors, they'll win 31-17. i'm not so bought on Sam Keller perfect now. he's have been given a large arm, yet does not use it so properly and makes too many errors. If Zac Taylor have been nevertheless around, i might say the Huskers have a extra perfect possibility, as he submit some good numbers, yet extra importantly, made very few errors. i might could say that USC would have this one, yet whilst Nebraska pulls off the disillusioned, they could grow to be the style a million team interior the country, and the winner between them and Oklahoma for the great 12 Championship will flow directly to win the nationwide call.

Don't know. I am still trying to figure out how Michigan schedules 8 of 12 games at home this year including the first 4. Of their total 4 road games only 1 is against a top 20 team...they obviously suck but before the season when they were ranked 5th nobody called them on their "cupcake" designed schedule.
FYI..you have to hope USC wins just because Nebraska football redefines boring..has for 30 years.

Wishing and knowing are different things. No way the Huskers are beating the busted condoms. Keller is way too over hyped, and he has said he couldn't believe how big the guys are and how scary it is that they run at him fast. He's acting like a little girl. Even when he was in top shape he threw 5 picks against SC, and he'll probably repeat that again this week.
I'm a Cal fan and would love to see the Trojans lose a bunch this year, and clear the way for us to get to the Rose Bowl (finally), and I like Oklahoma (I bet on both Cal and OU to win when I was in Vegas this summer) and it would help if SC loses.
But sad fact is, SC is not losing until at least 11/10 (when they come to Cal). And probably even then, they'll probably win and go undefeated and take OU's spot in the NC game. But being a fan of OU REALLY prevents me from cheering for the crappy Huskers too. So, in closing, they both suck, and I hope the game would be a 0-0 tie, but of course the Trojans are winning BIG!
