You have to get a copyright immediately, and an easy way to secure your copy is package one and mail it to yourself sealed, and leave it sealed. This allows you the freedom to share your rough draft with publishers or editors without the chance of illegal copy for profit. You also need to reassure yourself whether or not you are ready to put your name in the public "eye" because you will get some media attention, unless you use a pen name of course. Consider your future in all aspects and whether your book might come back to haunt you later, if you can answer all these and feel ready to do it then call a publisher. Call them over and over again until someone returns your call, and make sure they are willing to give you a fair percentage of the sale, however don't expect to make millions with your first book. Sometimes making $1500 is a lot for a first publication, but don't let it get capped. Make sure they pay you so much up front and then on a per copy basis after so many sells. Good Luck

Most writer's who are not already known, like the average Joe isn't, usually have to pay to have their work published. Or send your work to a Publisher in the field you want the book published in, but you will wait for YEARS, possibly to find out if your book is publishable. Your book may never even get read. So many people want to write and publish a book, the business is so over-crowded. Your best option is to find a Publisher and pay for it yourself. Go to the Library, and you will find many books with names, and addressess of publishers around the country.

Well, being 17 doesn't matter at all. You have to be a good writer with good spelling and grammar to get published. Then you need to write a good book, edit, edit again, and find an agent. Be ready for a lot of rejections. Oh, and a helpful tip, the "i"s in your writing need to be capitalized, along with the beginning of sentences. No offense, but that's pretty much 1st grade stuff, if you don't know that good luck.

I don't know you so please don't take this personally, I wouldn't take any book a 17 year old wrote on politics seriously. Even the philosophers from ancient Greece said that politics are not for the young. One must have years of wisdom and expierence in order to achieve what is necessary to understand the subject you speak of. You are on the right track though. In fact, I would say that you probably have a natural aptitude for it, otherwise you wouldn't have an interest for it at this early age. This nation could use more young people like you.

It would probably be best to be actively writing for a website that agrees with your views, but you could probably find a publisher. There are numerous publishers from all perspectives, even the most intellectually bankrupt ones (there are still people who believe orthodox Marxism, for example).

Well, go about finding an editor.
If it's one-sided and partisan, you'll probably find someone willing to go for it.
If it's a bit more of a serious piece of work, you might not have the experience to pull it off. But my advice is to keep writing. You clearly show the commitment to it.
In any case, ask for an editor's input. You won't know until you submit it.

Ask Michael Moore how he ends up getting his stuff published. Once you get that answer you will know how to publish anything you want after that legit or not.

Did you get it right?
Do you understand Republicans only care about profit, power and murder without guilt to make money to buy more power?
Do you understand Democrats respect everyone (live and let live regardless) except liars, murders and thieves?
