Bush has always had his presidency handled for him by the neoconservative/PNAC criminals who put him in office and took over his staff. He's probably always got the "deer in the headlights" gaze when a disaster happens. This is simply the first time live cameras were focused on him as initial events unfolded and caught the real Dubya on film to see for all of time.
Concerning the towers, it's somewhat hard to get at the truth when the "independent 9/11 commission" was controlled by a Bush insider (Philip Zelikow) who got to edit and and "enhance" the final report.

#a million the president can acquire knowledge and make a resolution from at any place on the earth, adding an fundamental university. #two the country was once beneath assault and the university had already been secured, I'm definite preparations have been being made to get him out of there. A short while to make plans of this magnatude could be very fair. #three is there rather ANYTHING he might have performed that could have made any change in some thing in that second? No. He could be critisized by way of the identical crowd it doesn't matter what he did. From turning the university right into a command middle, making it a goal, scaring youngsters, or rushing out the door and sitting in a auto "doing not anything" for a couple of mins. With rational idea its noticeable that this shouldnt also be an hindrance. But then all of the jokes begin pouring in on account that thats how biased the Bush bashers are.... no longer rational, simply hateful.

Bush sat there. Big deal! He was just informed that America was under attack and more than likely, was instructed by secret service to remain where he was. He is the President of The United States! Where did you read that those children were in danger? He was in Florida. How many planes crashed in Florida? Get your facts straight.
The President of our country HAS to be secured. He is not allowed to get up and run out...anywhere. As far as Bush "hiding" in Nebraska....he was transported by Air Force One to Offutt AFB, which is a secure location. He could not go back to the White House until ALL planes were grounded and ALL possible terrorists threats were extinguished.
Remember the facts...this really happened!
Do not forget!

ok, don't get me wrong, I'm no Bush fan, but what did you expect him to do? Jump up in that classroom with all those kids, pull out a bazooka from behind his back and run out guns blazing & singlehandely take down the terrorists? At that point, there wasn't much anyone could do.
And frankly, I think Bush should spend MORE time just sitting doing nothing, the country might be in a little better shape if he would.

Absolutely not, I will never forget it.
I can't say, "I remember where I was when Kennedy was shot" like my parents can, but I can & always will say where I was the morning of September 11, 2001.
I'll always remember where I was, what I was doing & who I was with when I heard word, that yet again, the people that we're supposed to put our trust in to keep us safe sat back & did absolutely nothing while the people that voted for them died in the most horrible way imaginable.
I didn't know any of the people in the Towers or on any of the planes or any of the heroes that ran into the buildings knowing the 99% chance that they will not come back out, but I remember them. I remember them today and I will always remember them and not only on September 11th.

clinton just sat there when bin laden was handed to him on a silver platter. Clinton let 9/11 happen. and you probably learned that towers fall over in a failed public school. Buildings collapse all the time. ever seen any type of earthquake footage? You embolden the enemy with your stupid useless conspiracy theories. You might as well join the terrorists and shoot at our troops. you are no better than the terrorists. PLEASE DO NOT ADD TO THE AMERICAN GENE POOL!!!!!

The Secret Service was negligent in not moving President Bush from a vulnerable location.
Also, it appears many other people had to "just sit there" to allow the unincumbered crash of airplanes into WTC1 and WTC2.
Many government people should have been dismissed for not doing their jobs. However, it appears that no accurate and thorough investigation has ever been done.
Why did the melted steel beams disappear from the crime scene before the forensic investigators could analyze the steel structure damage? I guess we can thank Rudy for that one.

He wasn't their very long, I watched Michale Moore's propaganda video and it looked to me like bush was very worried and . You could also tell that he really wasn't following along with that story to and he was thinking ****, what the hell is going on. I bet you were him you would do the same thing.

Wow, what a narrow interpretation of the actual events. What I will never forget is that for at least 6 years after the terrorists murdered innocent people on American soil, there has not been another successful attack in America. I can only hope that our next president can keep that track record intact.

I can't stand Bush but at that moment what was he supposed to do? Scare the kids & let them know that a tragedy just happened? He had to think of the kids at that moment.
