Like most baseball fans, we'd like to think that we personally happen to be the best fan of that particular team. When I was a kid I was so wrapped up with baseball and the Yankees I tried to learn everything I could about the team. I'd go to as many games as I could and would always call out to the players on the field during batting practice. Players like Mickey Mantle and Yogi Berra would always walk over and say hello. They would ask questions like, "Are you playing ball?" and "What position do you play?" It was small talk but it was "gold" to me. Today you can't even get close to the players.

At any rate those players made me feel like I was part of the team and that meant everything. It's these kinds of events that would make me feel that if there was a "Yankee Fan Hall Of Fame" I would be there somewhere.

A good, fun question!

No way in "7734" that they would keep me out....I have been a Yankee fan since 1956 when I watched Don Larsen pitching the perfect game....when I would not wear #7 I took 14 to copy my "idol" Mickey Mantle...every single ex-wife and ex-girl friend was told to cremate me and spread me in center field of Yankee Stadium.....my first son's middle name is Martin(Billy) and my #2 son's middle name is Mantle(Mickey).....my little girl (I love her so much) was suppose to be a boy and she was going to be DiMaggio....you never see me without the Yankee hat....I have signed autographs from DiMaggio and Mantle together...Yogi...Larsen and Jackson....the closest I ever came leaving was when George let Reggie leave the Yankees....he admitted his error later and I forgave him.......my closing signature is GO YANKEES! STINKIN RED SOX!......I can truly say that I love my Yankees and not not even root for the Astros (my home state is Texas)....if all that doesn't get me a spot in "Fan" Monument Park.....then no one else can either for there is no one else close to be a "true" Yankee fan as I.......GO YANKEES! STINKIN RED SOX!!!

I think I would. I have been a Yankee fan since Don Mattingly was a player. I have supported the Yankees before their 1996 World Series. So, I think I should.

I think eventually I would make the fans Hall of Fame for the Royals. There aren't a whole lot of die hard KC fans left and I've been a season ticket holder since I was 16 (this summer was my 11th season) and could drive myself to the games.

I would certainly make my team's HOF for fans.

I have been addicted to my team for 30+ years, my kids have grown up believing my team is the only team in the MLB.

I go to several games a year, I have the bumpersticker - I wear the Jacket and hat everywhere I go. I carry the baseball cards of my favortie players in my wallet. Even in down years I have nothing bad to say.

cool question! Thanks

Elaine

I think I would make it. I have been a loyal fan of the Red Sox for over 30 years. I have always loved them, win or lose. I have 2 Red Sox tattoos, way to many to count other memorabilia and Red Sox plates on my vehicle. I cry over their successes (Buchholz no hitter) and I cry over their downfalls (2003 ALCS). I go to as many games as I can (not many though since it costs and arm and a leg) and I watch or listen to every other game. I am extremely loyal and love my team!

I would elect my grandmother for the Cardinals' fans HOF for 92+ years, since she was murdered in 2001. My 35 years pales by THAT standard.
