I don't "hate" the US but there should be more improvement in this country. By the way, I am from the US. First, the problem with this country is that it is the fattest country in the whole world, if people don't believe me, they can look it up. There is a book out there called "Suburban Nation" written by an author who is also born and raised here (US). It talks about that most people live in the suburbs and hardly go out and exercise (walk). The sidewalks in front of suburban houses are useless because no one ever walks there and the houses are all pushed back, plus, the cars are most often parked in garages, therefore, people are not motivated to walk in suburban neighborhoods and they don't feel "safe", that's why people travel in cars most of the time. Second, most grocery, retail stores and office buildings are isolated and spaced out from one another, even located in strip malls, and most cars are parked in parking lots, it is ugly looking, compared to living situations in the cities, where cars are parked on sidewalks and grocery, retail stores, offices, apartments and townhomes are blended together in the cities/villages/towns, giving a more attractive look and people are motivated to walk in cities because it is pedestrian friendly and they are slimmer than people living in the suburbs. The problem is that there aren't many cities in the US, like NYC, San Francisco, Princeton, and Boston and these are very expensive cities to live in. There should be more cities in the US for people to live in that way it wouldn't be as expensive and people wouldn't be so fat.

I love my country and anyone that hates it, then go home and get out please cause its the best country in the world to live in and I fly around looking at all the greatness in humblness here and I can't THANK GOD ENOUGH FOR USA! GOD BLESS USA INSHALLAH AMIN! :)
InshAllah khair
We show greatness where greatness is earned and we show the weak rubber bands that snap and break, its natural to have good and bad in anything but it must be corrected in Islam its not admissable to just leave a blind eye to it, according to Muhammed SAW we are to fix things and correct ourselves first. Why don't they do that, and who really cares, well the Family that supports each other like bricks should begin to care or the wall will come crumbling down again and again as you see. Don't forget there is no leader, and there is no common ground they walk on. Its a bleeding shame! Salam :)

I think the US has problems just like any other country. But our biggest one is our arrogance and ignorance. if u want to call yourself as the worlds leader i think u should at least try to better yourself and put down the McDonald's long enough to learn a few things other than where Paris Hilton is at the moment!!
I live in the United States of Whatever

I don't hate the US. As a Cherokee American, I love the fact that this is the most diverse nation on Earth... And, that diversity makes us powerful.
World: Try not to be afraid of that power. We are a microcosm of the whole earth... Which means that we are made up of you. You don't fear you, right?

I'm from America, I don't hate the US . I hate the congressman and senators and white house liars that are stabbing us in the backs and stealing everything from us. I hate the powers behind the US gov that are altering what our children are taught in schools. i hate the media conglomerates that don't report the real news and are paid off to mass produce bogus b.s. stories that flood the minds of our American public.

i hate the government. congressional votes can be bought by lobbyists, they no longer represent the people. we invade countries on whims and are extremely capitalistic. we will crush the economy of a developing nation if it means paying less for oil and pushes off the deadline for alternative energy sources. i strongly dislike the religious right. they have blended their morality into politics and are attempting to make it law (ie roe v wade).
i want no part of the direction in which we are heading. henry david thoreau had it right. when he didn't like the government he stopped paying his taxes. why fund something you are opposed to?

Anyone who lives here and hates it is free to leave. There are hundreds of thousands of immigrants literally risking their lives to come here to live.
The USA is the best country in the world, and I am PROUD to be an American.
If you hate it, leave. Go to a 3rd World Country. Go to a communist country where you do not have the freedom to post such a question as you just did.

I don't hate the United States - however I find Americans rude & ignorant in general. I'm not talking about all of them, but that is the feeling I get whenever I've had to call them (for work). I hate how they think they're the most powerful nation in the world, and it just seems like they look down on other countries.
