There is nothing wrong with Christians friends. Every Church has a different Youth Group. Maybe the Chruch is not the right one. Check other Christian Churches. It sounds like it's just not the right one for you hun.
I know how you feel. The last Church was the same way. Now I attend another Church and the Youth Group is a lot better. My daughter loves it. The best friends to have is a Christian. All my good friends are Chrsitians. So is my daughters. There is nothing wrong with having other friends outside the Church. Just be careful on people who are against God. Encourage them and pray for your friends. That's what God wants is to do.

Uho. Why do they avoid you? Is there anything you might be doing. I'm not going to come down on you, but really. Maybe there is something that keeps them avoiding you, think it over.
If you didn't find anything, thing one more time.
Still nothing? Or something? Try to fix it!
Its possible to meet Christian friends my possibly going to someone else's youth group (if you have another Christian friend.)
If not, try to work with the people you have. Sounds like a tuff situation, I wish you the best of luck. Good friends ar ehard to find, especially Christian friends. I have a really hard time finding Christian friends, most of the people at my youth group are dorks, immature, and just plain mean. Its hard, but there is hope! Try talking to people you normally wouldn't.

Unfortunately, churches are full of hypocrites and youth groups can be nothing more than social circles w/ the thin veil of religion. What you need to do is try several different youth groups or churches to find the one that's right for you. When I was in youth group, I know alot of kids came when their parents didn't even come or their parents went to another church! But they liked our group because everyone was very loving, cool, and included everyone. you just need to find your niche.

Same here! It's like I am in youth group and when i get out, they pretend they don't know me anymore. We got along so well though during youth group! I don't understand. Even the non-christian guys who party like nuts even stop me when walking to class to say "hi". Talk about being hypocrites.

I would suggest praying about this issue. Ask the Lord to send Christian friends into your life. Look for scriptures and if you need help go to the concordance or the youth pastor. Prayer is the key.

God's only gona judge for your choices, not theirs. And i know how that feels also, I have probably not even a handful of christian friends. And yes most of them that claim to be Christians are hypocrites aka liars aka holy-er then thy. But they will come, i assure to that. God's promises are REAL.

find a better church, real christians are not judgmental, they know better than to point fingers.... you need to find a church where you feel comfortable and welcome... try going to church with other people from school or something, and maybe you will find one that suits you better. Good luck, and God Bless!
