He found a cyst on one of my ovaries and said that if he were to remove it then it would end the pregnancy. He also said that it carries vital hormones etc to the baby. Has anyone had any experience with this?

This may sound silly but its very true. When a woman is pregnant something about pregnancy heals alot of things. Before I got pregnant with my 2nd child I was having alot of female problems, cysts and acystic mastidus in my breasts. While I was pregnant it all went away. Then I had got hit by a car later on and I had severe bleeding my platlets went to zero. I was facing a blood transfusion and I got pregnant ( I wasn't able to go anywhere I would soak a towel in blood). that 3rd pregnancy healed that as well. your body while creating new life seems to be able to straighten out alot of things. Good luck and best wishes.

No experience with being pregnant at same time. I had a 2 cm cyst on my ovary (I'm 45), but it went away within a couple of months.

Did he say that the one ovary's cyst is going to cause the baby to have abnormalities? I'm not clear about what it was the dr. said, but I think they'd have to cut off my head before I'd abort my child.

No real information, I guess.

My sister-in-law had a cyst on her ovary while pregnant with her first child. The doctor told her to wait until she delivered before getting it removed. The baby was fine and she finally had it removed with no problems.

If the doctor thinks everything is going to be okay than just take care of it once the you have the baby.

Ok ... so as of right now, its late, Im getting ready for bed in a bit, and thus my memory is failing horribly lol ... but Im pretty sure there is also a cyst-like thing that all pg women get that dissolves itself early in the pregnancy ... youre doctors usually monitor and make sure it disappears on time and if it persists and doesnt go away or gets bigger, than sometimes it can be dealt with safely .... but you dont specify ... did your doctor say it would be threatening to your baby during this pregnancy? Or did he mention if it was cancerous, or can he not tell at the moment as checking it in detail might not be possible during pregnancy?

i used to have cysts on my ovaries too. unless the yare growing or harming you in anyway then there is not need to remove them. go throught with the pregnancy first, and then do what ever you think ir right.

Yeah he the two mismeasured or something. you basically pass forward in hard artwork. I recommend issues would come to a standstill yet hunny you do no longer skinny and get thick lower back. basically does not ensue. i might walk some stairs and get the ball rolling.

cysts are pretty common in early pregnancy, i had one and it disolved, and it was fine. most generally it will disolve. after you have the baby, if it is still there, than do something. until than relax, enjoy your pregnancy. good luck!!
