yes, just as good as any other breed.
It's all in how you raise it, if you abuse it and teach it to be vicious...well, you know what would happen.

I hate how the moment a dog attack takes place, the media just has to jump on the bandwagon and state it was a pitbull that attacked so and so, even with no evidence of the real breed!

ps-9 out of 10 people don't even know what a true pit bull looks like, resulting in many false statements to the police/media when an attack takes place.

You Pit Bull Stereotypists Can Burn In Hell. Pit Bulls while correctly raised are satisfactory puppies. My Neighbor has a Pit Bull, Sasha. She's very pleasant to EVERYONE. It isn't unlawful to possess Pit Bulls both.

If they're raised right of course why not? I have a doberman and to me though I think they make great pets, plus I've never had a pit bull

I have never met a pit bull I didn't like, even the ones who I really didn't think too highly of the owners, now Chows on the other hand, I don't trust them at all.

nope- and I'm not sorry either. My daughter had one that was pretty darn sweet... right up until the baby came! Obviously she had to find him a new home. There is a reason that several states have laws against them being in apartment communities and many homeowners associations don't allow them in their subdivisions either- it's not just pit bulls, it's akitas, chows, sharpeis, and pit bull mixes, too, plus some others, I believe.

I was always against them but lately I've been hanging out with a lot of people who have them. They really are sweet dogs. I feel so bad for the ones that get mistreated. In fact I have a German Shepard and I've raised him with nothing but love but he is more likely yo bite them most of the pits I know..

I do. A friend of mine had a huge pit bull, it was such a big baby. It used to fall asleep on my legs. 80 lbs of dead furry weight that wouldn't wake up for anything... not even a dog biscuit. He was so cute and very lovable.

i do and i don't. it really depends on the person that has them. i got all mine when i was younger and i didn't think that keeping them caged and away from all other animals was wrong and it made them sort of crazy they hated all other dogs and cats. so i couldn't take them out of the yard and i had to make sure nothing else got to them. i know better now so i don't have them. but i have a friend who treated hers like a baby and he was the sweetest prettiest Pitt bull ever.

No for children..I don't think that all pit bulls will attack you but the potential is there because of years of being breed for aggression..but the same is true of many breeds...such as Dalmations and Coon Hounds and Blood Hounds and German Sheperds
