In the following calculation

( (5.70 ×13.35) − 7.2356 ) / 0.0010 + 1

the number 1 is defined as exact. Give the correct answer to this calculation with the correct number of significant figures.

During the calculation, please note that I will keep one more significant digits (that is the usual practice, but you need to remember that your result should be one-digit lower):
( (5.70 ×13.35) − 7.2356 ) / 0.0010 + 1
= ( 76.10 − 7.2356 ) / 0.0010 + 1
= 68.86/0.0010 + 1
= 6.89x10^4 + 1
= 6.89x10^4
= 6.9 x10^4
