i'm on a budget i have to work cheap.what voltage is good i hear 64,000 is good.

If the motor is stock, I would get a stock distributor!

On a budget? Go to your local auto salvage yard and buy a stock electronic distributor. It'll do just fine.

The factory HEI distributor is still the best over all.

a factory electronic one is really good ,or the accell one with the vacuum advance unit is real good also,i have one of those,and they can be fine tuned to run really good,their no that expensive either,their under 200 for the distributor,that isn't too bad,good luck with it.

i had good luck with the stocker and an accel supercoil. now i run a stocker with a 6AL and a ZZ4 coil. you wont need more than either of my 2 combos till you start with forced induction or big nitrous.

Get a stock one, can't get any cheaper or more reliable than that.
