Tommy, are you just pissed off that one of the Liberal Networks CBS, has gone against extreme left wing George Soros Anti-American Hate, and is reporting FACTS straight from the field in Iraq, as the U.S. GROUND FORCES IN IRAQ COMMANDER does them same in congress, and are not reporting what you wanna hear????????

She's just reporting what the main media line is at the moment. That's what she does. She's been criticized by media watchers, like the folks on Fox News Watch (good show for cons, mods, and libs alike), for doing so.

The pro-war folks say they need more time, they're going to get it regardless, so let's see what people are saying when we have a bit more separation from the report. You can only kick the can down the road for so long, and it's been several years for the total war effort, and a few months for this surge tactic now. We already know Bush plans to pass the can off to the next president -- he said it himself.

We'll know soon enough whether this surge amounts to whack-a-mole or if it's actually working. Our recourses, troops, and patience are not infinite. Everyone knows it, especially the enemy, and especially Bush and the conservatives.

People touting it as a success... the political reconciliation HAS to happen or it's doomed to fail, and we'll just be keeping the lid on a civil war until we disengage or withdraw.

And to the dude above me: Right on.

This is getting to be rediculous. Listen. I have always been pretty liberal, but our country is way too divided over this conservative v. liberal thing. It is sort of like watching a messy child custody court battle. As a matter of fact, it is exactly like watching a messy child custody court battle. The two adversaries are even called "parties," and one "party" is always trying to blame the other "party" for anything bad that has ever happened since the beginning of time. They both claim to love the child (country), but obviously not as much as they hate each other. So, they go on trying to destroy each other while the child (country) slowly deteriorates into a warped neurotic mess and starts to hate itself because it is always hearing one "party" talk about how screwed up it is because of the other "party's" poor parenting (politics). All the child (country) hears is that it is screwed up and defective.

I think there is an old saying that warns something about a house divided being destined to fall. I think it is old because it is true. Stop hating each other over this political circus. You are really only hating yourselves.

Its amazing how fast liberals turn on their own if they happen to change their mind. Liberals used to love Katie Couric before she agreed that the surge is working.

Maybe she decided to be a rare and almost extinct entity, a journalist who can think for herself.
