Your question would have more force it there weren't so many others from Foley and Haggard to the Republican Florida candidate chairman who was arrested in Florida under very similar circumstances just a week before.
And then there is that huge list of Convicted Republican Child Molesters, no swiftboating suppositions, or sly innuendo.
When selfish megalomania is a party Ideology you will attract more selfish megalomaniacs than the party of empathy for others. Go Figure.

He is a politician and in my opinion all politicians are guilty of something. Having said that, I do feel that our nations leaders should be held to a higher standard because if they feel that going into a public toilet for sex is not that big a deal then what else are they doing that is sleazy and disgusting? If I found out that the person who represents me in Washington DC was caught in a restroom stall trying to have sex I would do everything I could to have he or she removed from office.

Let's see he plead guilty as charged. Now he says he only plead guilty because he thought it would stay private. Anyone in his position would be able to tell you once you are found guilty of a crime it becomes a public record. Anyone can look these things up. Most people say only guilty people plead guilty. I say he probably went to a lawyer the lawyer told him these things. Maybe the better question is why did he plead guilty? Another question will everyone that has plead guilty now be able to go back and change it?

No need to drag this out longer than needed. It was a misdemeanor, that is all. The only reason it's getting so much attention is because it is to do with sex. Just like with the Clinton scandal. Neither event are particularly that important.
Just agree that nobody is perfect and move on. There ARE more pressing issues going on in the world right now, this is a distraction.

Is Craig innocent? No--he got caught red handed-and admitted his guilt. End of debate.
As to the second question--you really should ask someone familier with the issue, like Foley, Vitter, Wolfowitz, or maybe Haggard! LOL

Did the person above me write innocent until proven guilty? Ummmm......he ADMITTED GUILT. He pleaded guilty in a court of law. He doesn't have to be proven guilty, he said he was...
This is another type of hypocracy shown by Republican politicians. They talk about Democrats being "immoral", then turn around and do the same things.

I think the worst thing he's guilty of is representing a political party that claims to be morally superior to their rivals. His pious facade is too transparent to fool those who know better.

He will be innocent if you keep spinning the issue in this country long enough. He could be found innocent in LA or his home town, but he sure will be guilty in a liberal town like New York. Weird, politic is weird.

He plead guilty to a lesser included offense so if he admits his guilt then I have no reason to doubt his judgment ...... he is after all a very high ranking government official and its his job to make good sound judgments
