Any suggestions? Right now the "brotherless" manga that I read is Vagabond, and Fullmetal Alchemist (I consider the anime to be a total spinoff) and watch Darker than BLACK. Any suggestions?

Most anime is based off manga, and most manga spawn an anime

Not really many Ican think of. Claymore is a great Manga, D'Gray Man is another great manga, pretty good anime, Buso Renkin is a great manga, good anime. Full Metal Alchemist is a great manga, anime is ok

Blade of the Immortal is my favorite manga, and it has never been made into an anime. It is a samurai fantasy, and if you like Vagabond you will probably like this.

MPD Psycho is another good (but highly disturbing) manga that has been made into a live-action miniseries by Takashi Miike, but has not been animated.

darker than black!~ (anime not in accordance with manga) rahxephon wolf's rain (somewhat some sequence from bones and dawn are unique) code geass (which began as a anime then grew to become right into a manga. does that count style?) tsubasa:rc!~ grew to become into made right into a pathethic anime,(by way of fact they only accompanied area of the plot, and the rest grew to become into some werid filler) so as that could count style. Clover, (not the honey and clover one) rozen maiden's anime grew to become into not probable the plot of rozen maiden... magical x miracle (by capacity of ways, the guy in front of me is right. fma's anime and manga plots diverge approximately midway by way of, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that. the manga is a lot extra perfect, yet it incredibly is in simple terms me ^^;)

Well, the only non-shoujo manga I can think of is Immortal Rain. It's a manga, and isn't an anime. It's reaaallly good! =D
