If it's a female she probably thinks your cute or something or you dress funny and she wants to see the rest of you outfit. If it's a guy he's probably gay or looking for anything (any flaws you may have about your self.) The Male has lack of confidence if the feel threatened by one another they're fighting for dominance especially for a female.

From my Martial Arts background- trying to determine if they might have the physical advantage on you. They are trying to determine from your confidence, tone of voice, facial expression, demeanor and/or body language how much fight training you might have had. This will then lead them to either try to take advantage of you or leave you alone.
