My 99 Pontiac Formula wont start. Every thing else works,,,the radio, lights, ac, everything but starting the car. There is not even a clicking noise when a turn the key. I checked all fuses and tried jumping it. Does anyone know what could be wrong?

You could have a bad ignition switch, a fuse, starter relay, bad solenoid, or a loose wire in the starter circuit.

Did you test the battery. Just because lights, radio etc. work doesn't mean much. You should have a voltmeter on your dash. It should be reading at least 13 volts with everything off and key on. The next thing is take the battery terminals off and clean them and the battery posts real good. Get a battery brush at store and do a good job.

YOU SHOULD GET THE VEHICLES COMPUTER SCANNED AND CHECK FOR ANY PROBLEMS AS WELL AS CODES AND THEN YOU WILL HAVE A GOOD IDEA ON WHAT THE PROBLEM TRULY IS.

TRY FINDING AN INDEPENDENT SHOP INSTEAD OF THE DEALER OR A CHAIN STORE BECAUSE YOU WILL BE OVERALL MORE PLEASED WITH THE FINDINGS AND THE SERVICE.

LEAVE IT THERE WITH THEM SO THAT THEY CAN FIND THE PROBLEM FOR YOU, IT WILL BE A LOT BETTER THAN JUST REPLACING PART AFTER PART AND NOT DOING ANY GOOD.

if you know how to test items this will be helpful but you need to see if you are getting power down to the starter solenoid and work your way back also you could bypass the starter (you should have somebody that knows how do it) and if cranks thats good..... the rest depens on results you need to make sure after you can get it to crank on its own without bypassing anything you have spark compression and fuel.
