Which of you could do a better job in the most difficult office in the world? I know I couldn't. When every third world country on the planet comes to you with their hand out and every self proclaimed victim expects you to make their life perfect and all media outlets around the globe berat you no matter what you did and then an event like 9/11 happens, what do you think you would do? Would you have a set of answers and solutions at the ready? Do all of you feel that you have the necessary qualifications to make life as we know it paradise? The presidency of the United States is the most difficult job in the world thanks to all the former presidents before Bush. It wasn't either Bush who started the middle East problems, or immigration, or the trade deficit, or the China trade imbalance, or any of the current problems most people credit him for. Yes, President Bush went into Iraq and took out Hussein and do any of you miss that dictator? I regret that over three thousand American men and women have died there but it was a Democratic president who started the Vietnam war and over fifty thousand Americans lost lives in that conflict. All of you who think you could do better just keep on proving your ignorance and short sightedness in bashing the current president and remember that the next president will make mistakes and blunders in some way and if that person is a democrat just keep your mouth shut when everyone around you is running their mouths and bashing them because you aren't any better than they are.

He's in a position to make the Democrat party go the way of the Progressive :Labor Party.
We're stuck in Iraq, no question about it, and the people want out. Whether or not Bush accomplishes this remains to be seen.
in all probability,.he will hand this problem to an incoming Demo president.
There will be a brief period in which that person can claim "Bush got into this mess" but sooner or later, the people will respond,"yea. but now YOU are president, what are YOU going to do."
And remember, the dems took control of the Senate on an anti-war platform, but so far we have not seen a thing! Bush has them painted into a corner. Without appearing it .,he is a master politician, and will do to the Dems what they have tried to do to him.

George Bush is doing his best. What else could he have done? There was a terrorist threat, our country's safety is hopefully his main priority, he doesn't want another event like 9/11 to happen all over again, so he MUST take precaution and send our troops into Iraq to watch the counry closely and get rid of those crazy terrorists that spend their lives coming up wth intelligent ideas on how to kill the innocent civilians of America, even if it includes the terrorist bomber's own sacrifice. terrorists are crazy! but they hide within Iraq where also innocent Arabs live. But what can we do? Wouldn't you rather see their people die over our people? it's one or the other. Bush had to choose. he chose to save us. he made the right decision, even though it may be difficult for Americans to understand. no one wants war. but sometimes it's the only alternative.

Voted into office two times by approximately 50% of the voting public of the USA. Deserves respect of the office of President.
Criticisms should be weighed in regards to which are legitimate and which are motivated by partisan politics. I try to reserve personal criticisms of the man until after his term in office; this is a policy I set formyself during the term of Jimmie Carter, and I have upheld since; it's good for me, that doesn't mean I think it is good for you.

George W. Bush, although he is a bad president, I guess is trying to run the U.S. to take care of the world, because so many countries rely on us, so I'm not sure whether he's really good or bad, but he should focus more on the U.S. than external affairs.

I like George Bush as a person, because no matter if I agree with him or disagree with him on policy, I think that he honestly tries to do what he thinks is right for our country, and I don't believe for a second that he has tried to pull the wool over our eyes. It is so funny to me, when people say that he is an idiot in one sentence, then accuse him of masterminding the terrorist attacks on 9/11...so what is it people? Idiot or genius?
