"The sun goes up and the sun gets down,
But like the heart of the sun, my heart continues to pound"
Behind the Sun, Red Hot Chili Peppers
Its a nicer way of saying S*** happens, but you just gotta get on with it!

"The Song Remembers When", Tricia Yearwood.

I was standing near the counter
I was waiting for the change
When I heard that old familiar music start
It was like a lighted match
Had been tossed into my soul
It was like a dam had broken in my heart

After taking every detour,
Getting lost and losing track
So that even if I wanted,
I could not find my way back
After driving out the memory
Of the way things might have been
After I'd forgotten all about us
The song remembers when

We were rolling through the Rockies
We were up above the clouds
When a station out of Jackson
played that song
It seemed to fit the moment
And the moment seemed to freeze
When we turned the music up and sang along

And there was a God in Heaven
And the world made perfect sense
We were young and were in love
And we were easy to convince
We were headed straight to Eden
It was just around the bend
And though I have forgotten all about it
The song remembers when

I guess something must have happened
And we must have said goodbye
And my heart must have been broken
Though I can't recall just why
The song remembers when

"face down in the dirt, she says, this doesn't hurt"
clever.
I write lyrics myself and sometimes i get annoyed when i hear songs with bad lyrics on the radio (ex. rhyming words like forever and together..think of some thing else!) so when i heard this song on the radio i really liked the lyrics.

"Shot down by strangers who's glances can cripple, the heart and devour the soul."

The Bird And The worm, The Used.

I think that it shows the judgemental problems in the U.S. today.

Every night I just wanna go out, get out of my head
Every day I don’t want to get up, get out of my bed
Every night I want to play out And every day I want to do

But tonight I just want to stay in
And be with you,And be with you.

Every day I lean on a lamp post, I’m wasting my time
Every day I lay on a pillow, I’m resting my mind
Every morning brings a new day
Every night that day is through

But tonight I just want to stay in
And be with you,And be with you.

Believe me mama ooh

Everynight - Paul McCartney

"i've been awake for eight days straight
it musta been them pills i took
there's holes in the walls and blood on the carpet
and it musta been the pills i took
i don't know what they were
and i don't know where i got em
but they sure did make me feel good
now somebody cussin' and someone is crying
and it musta been the pills i took"

"I'll spread my wings and i'll learn how to fly,
I'll do what it takes til' i touch the sky,
I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway,"
I just kinda like it.
