I am definitely for uniforms. Rather than the young people being applauded for their fancy clothes, they would have to develop their character more to stand out. Not everyone can afford the fancy clothes so with uniforms the poor excellent will stand out rather than being ridiculed and squashed. It does make competition among the schools if they have different uniforms. It can be a healthy competition like our school is the best sort of thing. The clothing industry wouldn't like it though because it means their incomes would dwindle....Too bad so sad...
Depending on the job, uniforms are very nice. It helps us to identify who can help us and they look so good and crisp. Mmm

Against! Who wants to wear the same outfit every day and dress like everyone else? People should be able to wear clothes that are them but if they made uniforms more stylish or maybe just told every one to wear the same colors in whatever clothes they wanted then I'd be okay with that

I have usually always tried to get a job that requires a uniform because that way I save money on having to buy clothes for work. So... I guess you can say I am FOR them.

I'm against uniforms that are uncomfortable and for it if they're comfy. I hated the cheap itchy polyester pants I had to wear for one job and the ties they made us wear in elementary school. But wearing scrubs for nursing school was like getting to go to school in my pajamas; it was great!

Well i go to a private Catholic high school and have to wear uniforms and i LOVE them! When you get up you know what you are wearing already and there is no distractions that regular clothes have on school. So i am for them!

I think they help set apart workers and students, and with the uniforms, no one is told they can't dress like that or this isn't acceptable. It also gives you a measure of respect, such as the proper military dress uniform.

Against- totally pointless and depressing.
Plus it's harder knowing what people you are going to want to be friends with, and those you totally won't get along with if they all wear the same thing.
