Is he a "surrender monkey" too?

Commitments will still exceed sustainable levels and he still isn't doing anything about increasing force levels to sustain this kind of war, but it is still a step backward.

And how are Busheviks going to blame Bill Clinton. "Did you know that Bill Clinton led the Persians to the goat path that let them outflank the 300 Spartans? The Liberal Press covered it up."

That's pretty disingenuous smsmith. For once, I'm not doing the knocking. I'm asking how YOU feel, now that he's betrayed you even worse than in the amnesty bill.

Oh my.... haven't you heard.... the WONDERFUL news?
"MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!" And, it shouldn't be long.... possibly six months, or so..... before the Iraqi military is thoroughly trained and ready..... to step in and control... any and all civil unrest.... that would hinder the progress.... of the newly "democricized" Iraqi government. So, as previously stated, WHEN these goals are met.... and, IF the (nearly impotent) Iraqi military is.... at long last.... able to take charge... we can.... slowly, but surely.... BEGIN to withdraw our troops. It shouldn't be long.... possibly 12 months, or so.... (and, with any luck at all.... BEFORE the election of our brand new President!) There now.... this glorious DICKtatum should make ALL Americans (both Libs and Cons) feel so much better! Our FREEDOM... our very WAY OF LIFE.... will be saved!
However, if everyone will excuse me, I'm not planning to hold my breath.... ( Too difficult to do. My nose gets a little stuffy when tears are rolling down my cheeks.) Because... broken promises.... lies and deceit.... don't appease me any more. Neither does the idle chatter and buck-passing. Yes, the Dems (including Clinton) can share the blame for this travesty. What can they say... any of them... to make this sensible to a pacifist? The lives of our troops are precious to me. The lives of innocent Iraqis are likewise precious. I'm afraid there's nothing Bush can SAY that will ease the mind of people like me. And this country... the country I love... (and what it is supposed to stand for)... was, and could still be... the best country in the world.... IF the money-grabbers would develop a conscience (not noblesse oblige, my dear, but honest-to-God CONSCIENCE)! Something tells me that's not about to happen, and I am so very...... heartbroken.

Holy Cow! I wondered how those Persians found that goat path! I am so glad you have clued us in. That darn Clinton--sticking his nose in where it didn't belong...

And on the subject of Bush, I kind of wonder if he was hoping for something else, like a big fat party for the success of the surge. And if he was hoping for same, where has he been since the war started? Maybe he doesn't read the newpapers, but you'd at least think he reads his daily briefings...

And you are very right. The spinmeisters will figure out a way to blame Bill Clinton. Right now, since everyone either blames the Dems in general or him in particular, I am trying to figure out a way to blame him for the body damage on my truck where I ran into a post in a parking garage. Do you think I could go the "he was the President when that was last painted" route? I already tried blaming him for the support post being there in the first place, but the building apparently predates his presidency, and I cannot figure out a way to tie it to his term as governor of Arkansas...

Who greater ideal to propose on those matters than militia leaders who've been there. there is too lots arm chair quarterbacking happening with this conflict interior the 1st place. My opinion is barely the adult males and females human beings that are scuffling with this conflict ought to have a say. militia leaders are knowledgeable to steer no longer persist with. that's the reason we've a Joint Chiefs of workforce to propose the President on concerns at the same time with those. i'm ill to my abdomen of all of us attempting to assert what we ought to continually or shouldn't do with this conflict whilst ninety% of the two factors does no longer raise a finger for the militia if it wasn't the same old element to do. Liberals choose our troops domicile becuase they help them yet do they understand truly a thank you to assist them whilst the largest ingredient to the militia is on a polar opposite political spectrum. Republicans desire to assist the troops yet they are all too intense and amazing to truly become in touch. end pretending you recognize what the troops choose becuase purely they understand what they choose and choose!

Good question, although you of course know that no matter how well or poorly Iraq ultimately turns out, the chimpies will claim credit for every success however slight and blame liberals, Democrats and especially Bill and/or Hillary for any failures.

Yeah he's a surrender chimpie.

The bible says pray for your leaders...and LOVE even your enemy...so let Bush go silently into the night. Realize his reign is almost over.

Clinton did stuff too. Man will alway disappoint, but GOD is faithful!

So he increased troop levels, and when they are due to come back because we can't sustain the levels he is taking them back down to where they were before and calling it reduction. Anything to avoid taking responsibility for this colossal blunder.

No. President Bush is listening to his advisors and Commanders on the ground and making his decision. Thank God, Bush doesn't 'swing' whichever way the 'wind' (political) blows.
