I got mad and quit my job!?

I was already mad about being past over for a promotion that I think I deserved. They gave it to a woman who is disgustingly busty (I mean obvious implants) and I think it's because the manager of the department store just likes to look at her. Anyway, they gave her the shift lead postion and therefore she's sort of my boss. And today she was always asking me to do things that are her job and I eventually refused and she said I was just jealous so I said go to h*** and walked out! Now, I don't have a job anymore and don't know what to do with myself. It's not like I needed the money since my husband makes enough to support both of us but since he goes out of town a lot and works late I'm sure I'll get bored really quick. What should I do?

First off, let me say I'm proud of you. I did the same thing. Money however for me and my wife is a problems and I bartend and wait tables for us to get by. Not that that's a bad thing or a bad way to make a living. But you compare it to what I walked out on and...

Any way, money isn't an issue for you and you want to find something to occupy your time. How about volunteering? Be a scout leader or volunteer at your local humane society. Walk lonely dogs or bottle feed kittens. Or get a cushy parks department job where all you have to do is walk around with a clip board and do tree inventory. I have a friend who does that and she loves it.

Good for you and good luck with your new life. I'm sure someone like you who is strong enough to do what you did will be more than able to survive.

i would have filled this big complain, but since you've aready quit go in there and give that big boob beach a hard time. send your friends in there, make her job suck. if not you always have this place. lol
