100 cm = 1 m
10000 sq.cm = 1 sq. m = 1m²
1000000 cubic cm = 1 cubic. m.= 1 m³
For doing your problem Convert the diameter into cms. Just multiply by 100. But to convert volume into cubic metres you will have to divide 1000cm³ by 1000000 cm³.

There are 100 cm in a metre.
This means that there are 100^3 (1 million) cubic centimeters in a meter.
To convert from cubic centimetres to cubic metres you divide by 1 million.
To go from cubic metres to cubic centimetres you multiply by a million.
