The Sabres are my favorite Hockey team and i am really excited for hockey season to begin i have been ready for about a month now My local newspaper had a couple of articles in the paper last week i was thinking to myself this is when you can tell hockey season is aproching real soon because its a little reminder for everyone

I am incredibly excited, lots of changes this summer will make for an interesting season all around but my favorite team is the San Jose Sharks! I don't know many teams that could lose Bill Guerin, Mark Bell, Vesa Toskala, and Scott Hannan and still be a favorite to win the cup. We do it with speed, size, and skill and hopefully this year going all the way!

Extremely excited. It reminds me of when i was younger and my family would have a vacation planned but it was still a while away. The anticipation would build with each passing day because you knew once it was here, it would be one of the enjoyable moments ever. Same goes for me and hockey. Every offseason is is a tough stretch for me as i know i have to wait about 3 months before they drop the puck again. Well here we are, knocking on the door to the 2008 season and i am exploding with anticipation. Looking forward to finding out which team will grind out the vigorous season and claim Lord Stanley. Looking forward to seeing future HOFs like Brodeur, Lidstrom, and Jagr mix it up with the youngsters like Crosby, Ovechkin, and Ryan Miller! I wanna stay up all night for OT again and go to the game to cheer and chant with the crowd! Yea, you can say i'm excited for hockey.
And my favorite team? Go Sharks baby!

Looking forward to hockey season as I have every year since I was 6 (that's over 40 years now). Once more I will cheer my team to a mediocre season and then I will watch another team hoist the cup in June but I'm hopeful one day, before I die or go senile, my Leafs will win another cup.

I can not wait. During the smmer, where I live on two channels they replayed Rangers, Devils and Islanders games from the season and playoffs. Every chance I had I watched. I have hockey in my blood. Forget football, baseball NASCAR or any other sport I watch just to pass the time away. Drop the puck. Get it going.

Just kidding I am super PUMPED for the season this year! I'm interested to see who will dominate the East, to see how the Sabres first 10-15 games go, big difference from the beginning of last season.

I sure can't wait for the new season!
As for my favourite team, I'll have to go with the locals - the Canadiens.
however they've been a bore to watch for nearly a decade.
I sure wish the best of luck to the Buffalo Sabres, I really like the way Lindy Ruff gets the most out of his young guys...

Nope. I don't get into it until after NFL season is done.
Fave team is the Vancouver Giants (WHL) and by default the boring Nux (NHL).

I can't wait! I'm trying to get tickets to see the Stars play against the Wild (my two favorite teams) at the Xcel Energey center...trying being the operative word, lol.

I'm excited for college hockey! My favorite teams are SCSU Huskies and the Gophers.
