Depends on which game and which arena. Still hard to beat being at home and not paying 6 bucks for a beer or lining up for the washroom. And then there's the instant replay you don't get at the game. For some games being there is a thrill but for a game against the Blue Jackets in October, no thanks.

Depends on the game, I guess. Game 7 of the cup finals or the 1st game of preseason?
Seriously, unless it's a playoff tilt or a game involving teams that are fun to watch, I'll take an HD broadcast on my flatscreen over the nosebleed seats.
Maybe it's the pain and traffic of getting to Staples or the fact that I've been spoiled by more than my fair share of live hockey in the last 10 years, but I'm not making an effort to attend a Florida/Columbus regular season game (no offense to those fans), much less sit in the worst seat in the building.

If I don't have to pay, watching a hockey game live anywhere is better. Hey, I grew up watching Nux games from the nosebleeds at the Pacific Mausoleum. Those seats are fine. Beats being in row 1...I hate that. Can't see the play develop. Need to be at least 10 rows back and away from the benches/penalty boxes.

It depends on the arena. There are some arenas (Tampa isn't one of them) where the nosebleeds are great seats with some great atmosphere...........you can always watch the game on the big screen.
Sadly, I enjoy watching hockey in 5000 seat arenas that have little or no heat rather than watching in tghe megaboxes that NHL teams use.
I'll actually miss Pittsburgh's Civic Centre when it goes. That will leave the Nassau County Coliseum as the next to go.

Nosebleed seats. Nothing beats the environment of actually being in an NHL game, especially during the playoffs.

Nosebleed section. Then after the game, go home and watch it again because I would have set my DVR to record it. Then I can see it all over again, up close.

You kidding me? I'd much rather sit at the very top. That's actually where I sit most of the time, not at the very top, but in the top section. I'm not rich ya know, :P. Anyway, at the Pepsi Center sitting in those seats is absolutely AWESOME! I've sat in lower level seats before, but I actlually see better from the top seats. From the top you can see the entire sheet of ice, like you were holding it in your hand. It's way better than sitting 10 rows from the ice in the corner. That's where I sat once, and I really didn't like it.
