yes she is a pop tart and not in as good as shape as when she was younger. But my god she just had two babies in like a year and a half.. Most women wished they looked that good after just one. Maybe she shouldn't have worn that outfit, but other then that she wasn't that bad and NO I do not listen to that kind of music just was commenting on it...

I don't know. it's just harmless pop for kids. When i was a teenager they did that to New Kids on the Block. My dad says it wasn't always that way; people just accepted that there would be music for that age group. People didn't bash the Monkees or ten years later the Bay City Rollers. Seems to have started during the Reagen era when the country went mean-dog in a big way.

because average people find some kind of perverse joy in negatively critiquing everything done by people that are more famous than them ... I don't know why, maybe it's jealousy or something ... although personally I think a celebrity lifestyle would suck big time.
I feel sorry for her, why are all these people making such a big deal about the fact that she's not as skinny as she was a few years ago - DUH! she just had 2 kids. I never had any kids, and I wish I looked that good!
leave the poor woman alone, she's been paying the price of fame for the past couple of years, and will continue to for many more ... remember that she's still a person, whether famous or not, and deserves some kind of respect from her fellow human beings ... btw, I don't listen to Britney Spears music. ever. I can't stand it. I just think it's ridiculous that everyone is making such a big deal of this.

For us, not rich ppl, what your saying is true but PLEASE!!!!!! We all have seen other celebrities that had have more than a baby and look stuning months after, if not WEEKS!!!! See Heidy Klum (3 babies) , Demi Moore (3), Madonna (2), Reese Witherspoon (2), Julia Roberts (twins!!!) and the list keeps going on and on.
How they did it? Commitment with their carrers and money $$$ to pay their diets and personal trainers.
And she DOES have that kind of money but before the diet and personal trainer she need a full detox: body, mind and spirit.
She needs to get her life back on track and pretty soon if not for her at least for her kids.
One more thing: I do agree that MTV used her big time (ratings were dropping on VMAs and went up 37% this year mostly bc ppls curiosity to see Britney back)
But did she/her ppl ask for the opening performance or MTV asked her?

It's not the way she looks that makes everybody rip on her, it's the way she acts. She has zero respect for herself. It's really very sad that she has to act like a two-bit witch to get anybody to love her. She needs to stay home with her kids and quit showing the world that she never wears underwear. It's very sad that she acts this way, but I don't feel sorry for her.

I watched the video and didn't think she looked that bad. Then when everyone commented on how fat she looks, etc. I thought this is why we have young girls with eating disorders. We don't expect people to look normal. (She might have been better off covering her midriff but it's too late for that.) I don't care about her one way or another but I do think it's bad that we expect her to be so taut and lanky.

I am not ripping on her. I fill deep sorry that she pick up wrong men. It is my problem to.But doesn't matter who you are-stay away from drugs alcohol cigarettes when you are have 2 kids and when you was a icon for a lot of people.

Because she went from someone with lots of potential and opportunity, to a self-obsessed, overprivledged c word. She didn't stay true to herself and ripped down others in the process. In short, she's a jerk.

Yea, I thought it wasn't terrible..she danced just like most of the artists out there today...rhianna and everyone else! And I thought she just seemed tiered and who wouldn't be with 2 children under the age of 2!

I felt sorry for her. She looked uncomfortable and uncoordinated. And it was fairly clear that she was miming again. No, she shouldn't have worn that outfit. I get the feeling that she's trying to be the sexy teenager that she used to be, instead of becoming a sexy woman.

Cause she treated her kids wit Negligence and is always partyin instead of minding them.
You don't see Christina Agulera or Beyonce doing what she does and they have ultimate media credit!
