who knows, i thought it was very good
i just wish they had done the second half of the book as a movie as well.
they only covered half the book in that movie.
There were a lot of questionable parts to it:
1. Harrier Jump jets even shrink wrapped staying in great flyable shape for 1000 years.
2. gas in he harriers working after 1000 years
3. the fact that the good guys learned so easily how to fly them.
other then that not a bad movie.

Because judging from what was on the screen, 99% of the money was spent on salaries (Travolta got about 40 MILLION), special effects, hair extensions, film, sets and costumes -- which left only about $5 for a script.

Any movie with a guy (Travolta) with his nose hair braided into dreadlocks should be an awful movie.

The ridiculous premise, the stench of Hubbard, the over-acting, the terrible costumes, or - I dunno - the moment when futuristic cavemen rise up against their Psychlo overlord oppressors after getting inspired by reading the Declaration of frickin' Independence and learn to fly Harrier jets.

Where to start? Perhaps due to the awful script, the poor direction, bad acting, poor sets, lousy special effects, insipid plot, etc., etc., etc.
